Previous Events - Rosh Chodesh Chanukah Party , 10.12.07

On Monday 10 December, the 6th night of Chanukah, many ladies from the community gathered for a Rosh Hodesh shiur and party hosted by Rebbitzen Odeya White. The evening began with a darkened room. Various women took turns lighting a candle and telling what “light” means to them. By the last candle, the room was illuminated with all their meaningful interpretations. After the Rebbitzen’s shiur, the room was transformed into a shopping market, with skirts, fashion accessories and swimwear for sale. And what would a party be without delicious Chanukah deserts by Einat Leib.
