Previous Events - Chabad WA hosts Chaim Dovid Concert
Although it was a cold rainy night on Sunday, 29 July, those attending Chaim
Dovid’s Perth concert were warmed by the musician’s soul-touching voice.
Accompanied by Bass player Avi Hershberg and local percussionist Dan Lazerus,
the full-house clapped, danced and cheered during the two-and-half-hour
concert.
From newborn to ninty, Perth’s Jewish community was united as Chaim Dovid
sang popular songs such as ’Twenty Million Yehudim’, ’Nafsheinu’ and ’Yibane’.
His brief talmudic explanations and personal life stories between songs,
made the event even more meaningful.
For Chaim Dovid, his Perth concert was extra-special with his mother and
close family cheering him on. After Sunday’s performance, his voice will be
resonating in their ears and hearts, as well as those who attended, for
years to come. The internationally-renowned musician kicked off his
Australian tour in Perth and will be delighting sold-out crowds in Sydney
and Melbourne in the coming weeks.

opportunity to experience Chaim Dovid live ’ in their home and in-concert.

perfectionist ways are always appreciated.
4. Roger Stoch for orgainising tickets at a moment’s notice. Your continued
support on all Chabad WA projects is greatly appreciated.
5. Undy Goodman ’ for being Undy Goodman and going out of his way to help
with finding a percussionist and sound engineer, taking care of Chaim Dovid
while in Perth and just helping out behind the scenes with joy and
enthusiasm as always.
6. Dan Lazerus - for joining Chaim Dovid’s band at a moment’s notice to play
drums ’ you were brilliant!
7. Adam Broons ’ As the Rabbi said, ’Without you, no-one would be able to
hear the concert’. Thank you for all your time, energy and enthusiasm. As
Chaim Dovid said, ’You are a mensch’.
8. Chana-Lili Warlow-Shill ’ for taking it upon herself to promote the event
and sell tickets.
9. The audience ’ thanks to all those who joined us ’ your collective energy
and spirit made the evening what it was ’ unbelievable!
