Every Jewish home has a very special blessing on its gates called a Mezuzah. This is a scroll on parchment hand written by a specially qualified Rabbi called a Sofer, with the Shma prayer inside.
The scroll is inserted in a case to make sure that it keeps intact.
A mezuzah needs to be checked every few years. It sometimes needs to be replaced due to cracked letters or moisture.
If you would like to have a mezuzah or have your mezuzah/ot checked, we will come to your house.
The initial check is free.
If the Mezuzah needs fixing it will be no more than $10 and will be done by the local Sofer. Sometimes a Mezuzah cannot be fixed.
A new Mezuzah is $50
A more expensive Mezuzah $70
