Upcoming Events - Yokine Community Fair - Nov 2, 2008

Dear Chabad Community,

As some of you may know, the annual Yokine Community Fair is once again on this year, and is being held on 2nd November 2008. This year
the organising committee has been kind enough to give Chabad the full rights to sell ALL the Kosher food on the day, as well as have a number
of stalls to sell Judaica, have craft activities and more.

There is also a major raffle that will be drawn on the day. There are 20 prizes to be won, the first being a trip for two to Bali, for 5 nights with
breakfast included. For every ticket Chabad sells, we get to keep $2, which means that if we sell a whole heap, we can make some good money for the Shul, in addition to whatever we make on the day of the fete.

Daniel and Stacey Keyser, together with Shalom are organising the Chabad stalls, and the selling of the raffle tickets. We are desperate for lots of volunteers before and on the day of the fete to help out with the selling of raffle tickets, preparing the stalls, and the running of the stalls on the day.

If you can help out by selling even just one book of tickets (10 tickets all together), or if you and your family would like to purchase some tickets
to be in the chance of winning a great prize, then please contact either Shalom, Daniel (0400 978 883) or Stacey (0413 807 152) who can supply you with the ticket books. Tickets do not have to be sold only the Jewish Community, and people who purchase tickets do not have to be at the fete to still win a prize. We have from now until November to sell tickets, so we have lots and lots of time to make lots and lots of money!!!!

There will also be a volunteer register at Chabad for you to sign your name to help out in some way, either before the day or on the actual day.
Please have a look and see if there is something small you and your family would be willing to help out with. Again we are looking for all the
help we can get.
