Oprah Winfrey spent a day visiting Hasidic communities in Brooklyn, NY. At the end of the day, Chabad.org's own Rabbi Motti Seligson interviewed Winfrey about her experiences.

Meeting the Chief Rabbi

This week I had the merit of meeting Chief Rabbi Sacks. Other than the more communal events, Rabbi Freilich organized for members of the rabbinate a breakfast with the Chief Rabbi.
The Chief Rabbi asked about each community and inquired about details of the coomunity. Many issues regarding the Jewish people in general and the Jeiwsh community in Perth were discussed.
It may be many years before the Chief Rabbi will be back in Perth.
Rabbi Sacks has written many books and I can reccomend each one.

It is not often children have the opportunity to have fun, learn and grow, build friendships and develop confidence, all at the same time. Education is not only reserved for school – in fact at Camp Gan Izzy this year, the kids have learnt about themselves, each other, their Judaism, and the world around them, all whilst having a blast! What an amazing experience.
